 Weaving
Elastanes like Dorlastan can be stretched to four to seven times their initial length. When the tension is released, the fiber returns immediately to its initial length. This property is particularly useful in weaving. By using Dorlastan, the normally not stretchable woven articles are given elasticity and dimensional stability.
Woven articles are used in many fields of application:
- Ladies’ and men’s outerwear
- Sportswear and leisure wear
- Underwear and corsetry
- Furniture and car upholstery fabrics
- Tapes and technical items
