What is Dorlastan?

Dorlastan is a filament yarn which consists of segmented polyester- or polyether-/polyurethane. Already a small amount of this fiber is sufficient to obtain perfect elastic recovery, dimensional stability and elasticity.

Dorlastan was launched on the market in 1964. Today, we cannot imagine a textile industry without Dorlastan any more. The broad range of yarn titers provides for extraordinary functionality and fineness in textile fabric manufacturing.


Properties

No limits with Dorlastan! Depending on the degree of stretchability and elastic recovery, the character and the handle of the goods required for a specific field of application, weft-knit, warp-knit, knitted or woven fabrics are preferred. With knitted goods you can achieve greater stretchability, whereas woven goods bring optimal dimensional stability.
