Inspirations
In between the new main trend directions, with their echoes from the past, full of allure and retro chic or with a Bohemian flavour and echoes of folk and ethnic from several countries and country styles, which are or more peasantry, rural and full of handcrafts, there is this sweet young romantic atmosphere, for a young girl as usual. She fantasized about looking like a princess; that princess is a grown-up lady now; the new young girl dreams of being an elf and of having magical powers as in a fairy tale; a girly nymph, sweet like an angel, sometimes refined and elegant, like a ballet girl, sometimes more sporty and daring; she loves romantic tender colors, the delicate beauty of flowers and the joy of surprising, yet discrete fun details and accessories.   

Colors and Fabrics
Soft, romantic and tender winter colors, the Enlightenment and Enticement colors of our spring/summer 07 directions with some flower colors as an accent. Contrasting to the often compact and heavy textile looks in the other trend themes, here we have very soft, fine, fragile and filigree laces and thin, light-weight transparencies, tulles, voiles. Beautiful tender, multicolored laces and embroideries; compose’s and new techniques; a sprinkled flower here and there, small or giant; loose applications of realistic textile flowers, flying and dancing on the textile like butterflies or tender, thin corsages; softly colored aquarelle flower prints, fragments of flowers as a print; here and there a flower; oft, refined jerseys and tricots; micro fibers; tricot blends and soft melanges. For a more sporty look: placed small fun prints and illustrations.

Silhouettes
The shapes are far from heavy and stable like in the other trend themes, yet the volume here is sometimes just as big; though the silhouettes are ‘nymph’ like: floating or flying on wings, airy, light-weight and with the movement of layers, that give volume; dreamy summer dresses can be ankle length, empire style, with short sleeves; short skirts and tops sometimes have a blousing voluminous design, even the sleeves.
Bodyfashion: pretty little mini dresses and skirts; petticoat skirts in small layers of lace have volume; lace ruches and frills; girly cross-over and mixes of underwear and lingerie with frills and ruches combined with more sporty, melange jerseys; underwear camisoles have small (adjustable) lingerie straps, and often back details; panties are girly, larger, sometimes wider.
